There are nearly 2000 of us now, members of the Macintosh Users group in SL! Whether we use our Macs to help create this wonderful world or we just wish to experience the world in style, the Mac is our platform of choice. Together, we have a wealth of experience to share, from advice on tools for content creation, hardware and software configurations for the best SL experience, to news and workarounds for the various challenges SL often throws our way.
Any topic suitable for discussion in-world via the Macintosh Users group is welcome here. This blog is intended to supplement this discussion, allowing us to share with each other when we can’t all participate in a given group chat session and provide a searchable archive of knowledge for new and old users alike. In addition to this blog, please feel free to contribute to the Forum and Wiki. There will also be a number of Polls from time to time.
Together, our contributions can help each other to continue to develop and enjoy SL, and we can share this valuable information with Linden Labs and Apple to help make our SL “just work” — the way things should be on a Mac. :-)
