According to Appleinsider, the final update to 10.4 Tiger and the long awaited 10.5 Leopard is nearly complete, with an expected release date of Friday, October 26th. Apple has *not* announced a launch date yet and has not announced Gold Master status for 10.5 (”gold master” is the version prepared for consumer release). We’re eagerly anticipating more news within the next few days.
Aside from the enhancements promised by Leopard, it is strongly hoped that both of these releases will fix the graphics driver and related problems experienced by those who own new Macs affected by extremely poor performance in SL.
